Part preparation
All prices are based on parts that are stripped to bare metal, degreased and ready for paint. Any cleaning of excessive rust, dirt, oil or grease will be extra (unless we are to media blast). Any media blasting will be extra. Any chemical stripping of previously powder coated parts will be extra. All bearings, seals, gaskets, bushings, plastic pieces, etc. must be removed to withstand the high oven curing temperatures. We do not disassemble or assemble parts. Chemical pre-treatment and media blasting may be used on your parts and it is your responsibility to thoroughly clean all parts before assembly. We will mask only threaded holes and gasket surfaces on parts unless we are advised otherwise, please note any special masking needs you have in writing when delivering the parts to us.

Caring for Powder Coated Parts
While Powder Coated finishes are tougher and more flexible that conventional paints, they can be scratched. Use the same care you would use to clean your car. Gently wash with a clean, soft, damp cloth and mild detergent followed by a clear water rinse.
* Some cast aluminum and magnesium parts may experience out-gassing causing minute pinholes in the finish. We will take every precaution to avoid it, however we can’t be held responsible for out-gassing caused by porous castings.
